Robin - Camsure Home Surveys 2024
I would definitely use them again in the future
If I could, I would give 10/5 stars. Camsure Home is a wonderful Homebuyers Survey Company! I've reached out to them mid-December and they organized the survey date to be on the 18th of December, with the Home Report being ready on the 19th. Honestly, I didn't expect anybody would move so close to Xmas but Robin Fletcher went an extra mile on the report: from photographs of places in need of attention to in-detail explanations of why certain things would need to be renovated. The report that I was provided with saved me from buying a seemingly alright house which otherwise would have turned out to be a huge money loss. I would definitely use them again in the future.

The sections were so detailed that I get the impression no stone was left unturned and I am very confident after reading his report about the condition of the property.
If you want an excellent survey for a good price I'd highly recommend!

Very readable and detailed Level 2 survey
Thanks for a very readable and detailed Level 2 survey. I was really impressed with the professionalism and prompt delivery of the report.
It will be a very useful aid to future maintenance and improvement to my new property.
I can well recommend Camsure Homes Surveys. Gary did an excellent job.
It depends on how big and complicated the house is.
Usually, an RICS inspection takes 2 hours to a day but bigger houses might take days.
Ask your surveyor when they'll do the inspection and when you'll get their report.
Depends on what the survey finds.
No problems? Everything keeps going as usual.
Big problems? You might try to renegotiate the price, get the seller to fix things or even pull out of the deal. You might also need other experts to check things, which takes time.
No, it's not required by law in England, Wales or NI, but it's strongly recommended for buyers' peace of mind.
In Scotland, it's required before you can even put the house on the market.
